  Abstract Das heutige Qualitätsdenken hat seinen Ursprung in der Industrie. Konzepte, die dort grosse Erfolge brachten, lösen in Systemen, die es mit biopsychosozialen Phänomenen zu tun haben, ambivalente Haltungen aus. Dies zeigt sich am Beispiel der Qualitätsmessung, die klassischerweise auf Indikatoren basiert. Damit können einzelne Aspekte eines Phänomens erfasst werden, aber Qualität ist mehr als die Summe ihrer Indikatoren. Für die Verbindung quantitativer Messungen mit dem Praxisalltag braucht es in den Organisationen deshalb institutionalisierte narrative Prozesse.

  Abstract Die vorliegende Arbeit ist eine Literaturrecherche zum Thema Landschaft und Gesundheit. Die Recherche verarbeitet wissenschaftliche Publikationen, die sich im ruralen und urbanen Kontext mit Landschaft und Gesundheit befassen. Der Arbeit liegt ein umfassendes Verständnis von Landschaft und Gesundheit zugrunde. Die Begriffe Landschaft und Gesundheit werden mittels der folgenden sechs Komponenten konzeptuell verbunden: Ökologische, ästhetische, physische, psychische, soziale und pädagogische Komponente. Die sechs Komponenten haben für die Literaturarbeit leitende und strukturierende Funktion. Die Literaturarbeit zeigt zu den sechs Komponenten folgende Ergebnisse: – Die unter die ökologische Komponente gefasste empirische Literatur belegt, dass sowohl die Betrachtung von als auch die Anwesenheit in der Natur einen günstigen Einfluss auf Gesundheit hat. Ebenfalls beeinflussen Landschaftselemente wie Lärm, Klang und Wetter die Gesundheit. – Die ästhetische Komponente legt ihren Fokus hauptsächlich auf die gesundheitsfördernde Stadtgestaltung. Dabei zeigt die Literatur, dass die Gestaltung von Landschaftsräumen eine wichtige Gesundheitsdeterminante darstellt. – Die unter der physischen Komponente besprochenen Studien illustrieren den Einfluss von Landschaftsräumen auf die physische Aktivität. Eine bewegungsfreundlich gestaltete und als bewegungsattraktiv wahrgenommene Umgebung hat einen günstigen Effekt auf die Ausübung von körperlicher Aktivität. – Zur psychischen Komponente präsentiert diese Recherche Literatur, die die Wirkung von natürlichen Landschaftsräumen auf Erholung von Stress und geistiger Müdigkeit und auf den Gemütszustand und psychische Erkrankungen belegt. – Unter die soziale Komponente werden empirische Arbeiten gefasst, die zeigen, dass grüne und begegnungsfreundlich gestaltete Aussenräume dazu beitragen, dass sich Menschen in ihrer Umgebung sozial engagieren und sich sozial integriert fühlen. – Und schliesslich zeigt die pädagogische Komponente, dass vegetationsreiche und sichere urbane wie rurale Landschaftsräume die motorische, kognitive, emotionale und soziale Entwicklung von Kindern und Jugendlichen positiv beeinflussen. Zusammenfassend kann festgehalten werden, dass Landschaft und Gesundheit ein äusserst breites, interdisziplinäres und unscharf umrissenes Forschungsfeld darstellt. Das Potential, das mit der konzeptionellen Verbindung zwischen Landschaft und Gesundheit einhergeht, liegt brach und bedarf Anstrengungen sowohl auf Forschungs- wie auf Interventionsebene. Die gesundheitsfördernde Gestaltung und Nutzung von Landschaftsräumen kann nur multidisziplinär und intersektoral erfolgen, indem verschiedene wissenschaftliche Disziplinen, politische Institutionen und die Bevölkerung zusammenarbeiten. Le présent travail est une recherche bibliographique sur le thème des effets de la qualité du paysage sur la santé. Il recense et analyse les publications scientifiques qui abordent la relation entre le paysage et la santé en milieu rural comme urbain. Ces notions sont à la base d’une approche globale, et les six composantes de leurs liens conceptuels réciproques sont les suivantes: les éléments écologiques, esthétiques, physiques, psychiques, sociaux et pédagogiques. Ces composantes ont des fonctions directrices et structurantes pour la recherche bibliographique. Les résultats pour les six domaines sont les suivants: – La littérature empirique relevant de la composante écologique démontre que tant l’observation de la nature que la présence en son milieu ont des effets bénéfiques sur la santé. Les éléments paysagers tels que le bruit, les sons et le temps qu’il fait l’influencent également. – La composante esthétique est essentiellement focalisée sur les aménagements urbains favorables à la santé. La littérature montre cependant que la forme des espaces paysagers représente une déterminante importante de la santé. – Les études examinées en tant que parties de la composante physique illustrent les effets du paysage sur l’activité physique. Un environnement favorable au mouvement et perçu comme un encouragement à se mouvoir est bénéfique à l’exercice corporel. – Dans le domaine psychique, la recherche présente la littérature évoquant les effets d’espaces paysagers naturels sur la lutte contre le stress et la fatigue mentale, ainsi que sur l’humeur momentanée et les maladies psychiques. – Sous la rubrique sociale, des travaux empiriques sont relevés attestant la contribution d’un environnement vert et propice aux rencontres à l’engagement social des gens, comme à leur sentiment subjectif d’être intégrés. – La composante pédagogique enfin prouve les effets positifs de paysages ruraux et urbains, sûrs et riches en végétation, sur le développement moteur, cognitif, émotionnel et social d’enfants et adolescent(e)s. En conclusion, il est possible d’affirmer que le paysage et la santé constituent un champ de recherche extrêmement large, interdisciplinaire et délimité de manière floue. Le potentiel généré par la relation conceptuelle entre le paysage et la santé est aujourd’hui encore en friche et mérite des efforts tant dans le domaine de la recherche que dans celui des interventions. L’aménagement et l’utilisation d’espaces paysagers encourageant la santé ne peuvent être définis que par des démarches multidisciplinaires et intersectorielles, par la collaboration entre les diverses approches scientifiques, les institutions politiques et la population. The present work is a literature review on the subject Landscape and Health. It processes scientific literature dealing with the subject in a rural and urban context. The review is based on a comprehensive understanding of the concepts of landscape and health. Landscape and health are conceptually connected by means of the following six components: ecological, aesthetical, physical, mental, social, and pedagogical. In this literature review, these six components play leading and structuring role. With regard to the six components, the literature review shows the following results: – The empirical literature subsumed under the ecological component verifies that the view of as well as staying in nature has a positive influence on health. Health is likewise influenced by landscape factors such as noise, sounds, and weather. – The aesthetic component focuses mainly on a health-promoting urban design. The literature shows that the design of these landscape areas represent an important health determinant. – The discussed studies with relation to the physical component document the influence of landscape on physical activity. An environment designed as friendly to and perceived as encouraging physical exercise has a beneficial effect on physical activity. – As for the mental component, the present review shows literature verifying the effect of landscape on the recovery from stress (relaxation) and mental fatigue as well as the beneficial effect on emotions and mental illness. – The social component subsumes studies which show that outdoor areas, which are green and of a design that invites people to meet, contribute to social engagement of the inhabitants in their neighbourhood and strengthen their feeling of being socially integrated. – Finally, the pedagogical component illustrates that safe environments rich in vegetation, urban as well as rural, positively influence the motor, cognitive, emotional and social development of children and adolescents. Recapitulating it can be said that landscape and health represent a very wide, interdisciplinary and only vaguely defined field of research. The potential related to the conceptional connection between landscape and health has been lacking attention and requires further investigations on a research as well as practical level. A health promoting design and utilization of landscape can only be achieved in an interdisciplinary and intersectoral way by the collaboration of different scientific disciplines, political institutions and landscape users.
