Abstract: 1985 wurde die Suchtpräventionsstelle der Stadt Zürich gegründet und feiert damit dieses Jahr ihren 25-igsten Geburtstag. Damit war sie in der Anfangsphase der institutionalisierten Suchtprävention in der Schweiz mit dabei und prägte diese mit. Im Laufe der Jahre wurde ihre Arbeit durch kantonale Konzepte 1991, 1994 und 1999 auf eine kantonale Basis gestellt. Nachfolgend sind die wichtigsten Stationen von 1985-2010 festgehalten.
