Abstract: Der vorliegende Suchtbericht gibt Auskunft über Entwicklungen im Bereich Sucht in der Stadt Bern innerhalb der Berichtsperiode (1. April 2011 bis 31. März 2012). Er stützt sich auf Infor-mationen und Angaben verschiedener städtischer Stellen, Suchthilfeinstitutionen in der Stadt und Region Bern, der Kantonspolizei sowie auf nationale Studien zum Thema Suchtmittelkon-sum und Gesundheitsverhalten. Die wesentlichen Entwicklungen, der Handlungsbedarf sowie geplante Schritte und Massnah-men sind jeweils am Ende der Kapitel unter „Zusammenfassend“ bzw. im Kapitel Fazit/Aus-blick aufgeführt.

Abstract: At the end of September 2012, the EMCDDA and Europol examined the available information on a new psychoactive substance 5-(2-aminopropyl)indole (commonly known by the abbreviation ’5-IT’), through a joint assessment. The two organisations concluded that sufficient information had been accumulated to merit the production of a Joint Report on 5-(2-aminopropyl)indole as stipulated by Article 5.1 of the Council Decision 2005/387/JHA.
