Abstract: La consommation de produits psychoactifs à l’adolescence fait l’objet d’une attention particulière de la part des pouvoirs publics et des acteurs de santé et de prévention. L’OFDT a progressivement mis en place un dispositif d’observation des consommations de produits psychoactifs à l’adolescence qui comprend aujourd’hui trois enquêtes, dont deux se déroulent dans un cadre international : l’enquête HBSC (Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children), soutenue par l’Organisation mondiale de la santé, interroge des élèves de 11, 13 et 15 ans ; l’enquête ESPAD (European School Survey Project on alcohol and Other Drugs), initiée par le CAN (Swedish Council for Information on alcohol and Other Drugs) et le Conseil de l’Europe, concerne les élèves de 16 ans ; enfin l’enquête ESCAPAD qui, contrairement aux deux premières enquêtes déborde le milieu scolaire, couvre plus spécifiquement les adolescents français de 17 ans. Ce numéro de Tendances présente les premiers résultats français concernant les usages de tabac, d’alcool et de cannabis de la dernière enquête ESPAD qui s’est déroulée durant le premier trimestre 2007. Il actualise l’évolution des consommations de ces produits psychoactifs (les usages des substances plus rarement consommées seront présentés ultérieurement). Il présente également dans sa dernière partie quelques éléments descriptifs de la sociabilité, des loisirs et de la vie scolaire des élèves interrogés.

Abstract: Online-Glücksspiele werden auf dem Glücksspielmarkt immer wichtiger. Viele junge SpielerInnen machen ihre ersten Erfahrungen mit Glücksspielen im Internet. Diese Entwicklung ist problematisch, weil solche Spiele aufgrund ihrer Eigenschaften ein erhöhtes Gefährdungspotenzial für eine Suchtentwicklung aufweisen. Seitens der Prävention werden deshalb vermehrt Konzepte und Massnahmen gefordert, die ein problematisches Spielen gar nicht erst aufkommen lassen.

Abstract: Übermässiger Alkoholkonsum ist bei Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen einer der grössten Risikofaktoren für Gesundheitsbeeinträchtigungen und verfrühte Todesfälle. Gesetzgebungen im Bereich der Alkoholprävention sind ein sinnvolles Instrument, um dieser Gesundheitsgefährdung vorzubeugen. Für gewisse Hochrisikogruppen braucht es jedoch zusätzliche Präventionsansätze, welche auf die problematischen Personenmerkmale in diesen Gruppen zugeschnitten sind.

Abstract: Seit gut einem Jahrzehnt experimentiert Neuseeland mit Regulierungsmodellen für Neue Psychoaktive Substanzen (NPS), die nicht nur auf Verboten basieren. Auch wenn bis heute noch keine tragfähige Lösung zur NPS-Regulierung gefunden wurde: Die Erfahrungen Neuseelands ermöglichen Einblicke in die Möglichkeiten, Grenzen und Konsequenzen unterschiedlich ausgestalteter Regulierungen.
