Abstract |
This report was compiled as a supporting document for the evaluation of the 2005-12 EU drugs strategy and its two action plans: 2005-08 and 2009-12. It reviews the main trends and changes in the European drug situation and in the responses developed by the EU Member States. Four main areas are covered by the report: drug use and drug-related problems; drug supply; drug policies; and demand reduction interventions. |

Abstract |
The 2013-15 strategy and work programme is the third one since the EMCDDA’s recast Regulation in 2006. It is built around three top-level commitments: (a) providing a relevant, timely and responsive analysis of the drug situation; (b) efficiency: deriving maximum value from activities and investments; (c) communication and a customer-orientated approach. The bedrock on which this three-year strategy and work plan rests is the recognition that the achievements the agency has made since its inception have been delivered by maintaining clarity of purpose, technical rigour and a long-term vision. |

Abstract |
Der vorliegende Bericht umfasst die Auswertung der Befragungen der Basler Schülerinnen und Schüler der neunten Klassen des Gymnasiums und der Weiterbildungsschule (WBS) der Schuljahre 2008/2009, 2009/2010 und 2010/2011. Die Befragungen wurden im Rahmen der freiwilligen schulärztlichen Untersuchung durchgeführt, woran rund 98% der Jugendlichen der neunten Klassen teilgenommen haben. Die Befragung fand dabei entweder im Vorfeld der Untersuchung durch einen persönlichen Gesundheitsfragebogen statt, den die Jugendlichen zu Hause ausfüllen konnten und der primär der Vorbereitung des schulärztlichen Besuchs diente, oder wurde – im Falle der Zusatzfragebogen zu weiteren gesundheitsrelevanten Themen – direkt vor Ort im Kinder- und Jugendgesundheitsdienst anonym durchgeführt. Dabei wurden die Jugendlichen je nach Schuljahr zu unterschiedlichen Themen befragt. So waren dies die Bereiche Stress, Sucht, Sexualität, Suchtmittelkonsum, Sport und psychische Gesundheit. Zudem wurden im Rahmen der schulärztlichen Untersuchungen jeweils die Gewichtsdaten der Jugendlichen erhoben. Die Auswertungen der aktuellsten Gewichtsdaten aus dem Schuljahr 2010/2011 sind im vorliegenden Bericht enthalten. Insgesamt kann sowohl der körperliche als auch der psychische Gesundheitszustand der Jugendlichen im Kanton Basel-Stadt als gut bewertet werden: Die grosse Mehrheit der befragten Jugendlichen (88%) gibt an, bei guter oder sehr guter körperlicher sowie psychischer Gesundheit zu sein. Die häufigsten Beschwerden bei den Jugendlichen sind Kopfschmerzen (20%) oder Rücken- und Gelenkprobleme (18%). Rund 11% der Jugendlichen nehmen regelmässig Medikamente ein und 10% geben an, sich in psychologischer Behandlung zu befinden. |
